An invitation to all pregnant women and mothers for a 5 week course.
Friday mornings 10am - 12.30pm on the 15th and 25th September and the 2nd, 16th and 23rd October 2026
Maternal Journal Course will be running from our main art centre in Chatham.
The Meeting Point,
Nucleus Arts Centre
272 High St,
Chatham,
ME4 4BP
We welcome any mum who’d like to have a go at using creativity and intuition to explore maternal issues that are important to her. Feel free to bring your baby along (if under 12 months) and enjoy coffee and cake on arrival.
You’ll be guided by Deborah; a mother, a former textiles teacher and volunteer in the local mother/baby world since 1993. She was nominated for Medway Council’s A Better Medway award for ‘Outstanding Contribution to Mental Health’.
These workshops have been created by leading artists, midwives, doulas and therapists to boost your creativity and wellbeing. Helping you to reflect during this transformational early mothering stage of your life. Ideal for beginners and experienced artists alike - as it is all about the process rather than the merit of the product of our hands or minds.
Limited to 8 spaces.
Attendance to all 5 sessions is required.
£15 covers the entire course, including all materials and refreshments.
