Create and Explore - The Art Pod - The Halpern Gallery
A collection of 2D and 3D artworks created by the students that attend The Art Pod and showcasing the professional artworks of their teachers Kerry and Keira.
Featuring mixed media, sculpture, fine art and illustration. The exhibit is an exciting splash of colour, imagination and vitality that will sure to inspire all ages to start creating again.
Common Ground
Our Summer Exhibition is now in its eighth year and is a highlight in the gallery calendar.
This is an open call exhibition with this years theme being Common Ground. Sumbissions by midnight 14th July. To find out more including how to submit for this exhibition visit the link below.
Lego and Art Club-
Join us for our Lego® and Art Club for ages 4 and up on the first Saturday of each month. During the two hour family session, there will be plenty of colouring, painting, a different art activity available each month and, of course, lots of Lego® bricks!
We have an amazing Lego® collection, and encourage play from all ages as this is a family based session. Every month there will be a new activity planned for you to enjoy alongside the Lego®!
The Craft Club
Weekly creative sessions for 7 - 11 year olds.
Booking Required. £2.00 per child
Young at Art - Mosaic Birds
Participants will be creating their own Mosaic Bird that will become part of a larger collaborative installation piece. The final piece will be permanently displayed at Nucleus Arts as part of the global ‘You Are Here’ project by American Mosaic artist Rachel Sager.
This worldwide community project sees people across the globe creating installations in their own areas, all of which will be mapped together to show connections through art across the world! If you would like to create something meaningful, permanent and visible for everyone to enjoy, this is, the perfect workshop to get involved with. All Materials are included.

Young at Art - Polymar Clay Earrings
Lead by Guest Artist Emily Stocker during this polymer clay workshop you will learn some basic techniques for manipulating the clay and colour marbling, before cutting out your earring shapes after coming up with your own design for your final product.
Please note; your creations will be taken away to be baked and will be available to collect at a later date.
