Our large front loading ceramic kiln can be hired independently or, if you require assistance, we can arrange for one of our resident artist to guide you through the process.
£70 per 24 - 48 hour fire - including a Kiln Technician if you require someone to load, set and unload the kiln.

(Please note that there is no parking at the Main Nucleus Arts site. Parking facilities are available in the close vicinity. The nearest parking can be found at Rhode Street, Chatham).
PLEASE NOTE:
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the Kiln is suitable for their needs. The Charity shall attempt to accommodate any late changes, but the Client should be aware that it may not be practical to do so.
It is the responsibility of the kiln hirer to transport their work to and from the Kiln. Once inside the Kiln Room, it is the responsibility of the Kiln hirer to unpack their items before firing, and to re-pack after firing. Please ensure that the bottom of your pieces are free of glaze before firing.
Nucleus Arts and our Kiln Technicians are not responsible for any damage to pieces sustained in the firing process, including arrival and unpacking of items, loading and unloading the kiln, firing, and collection of items after firing.
