Following the success of our annual group shows, we invite artists and makers to take part in our Winter Open 2025!
We invite you to submit up to three pieces of work, and guarantee that at least one piece of your work will be included. We are looking forward to an eclectic artistic offering designed to entice and enthrall. We attract experienced professional artists as well as those at the beginning of their practice. Unlike our Summer Exhibition, all work in this show must be for sale.
The Winter Open will take place in both the Halpern Gallery, Chatham and the Halpern Pop, Rochester. Artwork going to the Pop is to be decided by the panel. (All artists will have work in our Chatham gallery).
Please submit your piece/s digitally for a fee of £15. At least one piece from each artist will definitely be included. 25% commission on sales.
The exhibition will run from:
28th November - 23rd December 2025 in the Halpern Gallery
28th November 2025 - 5th January 2026 in the Halpern Pop.
Delivery Date: Wednesday 26th November 10am - 4pm. Location: Halpern Gallery, Chatham
*Those chosen for The Halpern Pop will be expected to deliver to the Rochester venue between 9.30am - 12pm on Wednesday 26th November
Collection Date: 6th January 2026, 10am-4pm. Location: Halpern Gallery, Chatham*

Submissions by midnight on 17th November please. You will be notified no later than 20th November.

Private View: HUMBUG! Saturday 6th December, 11am - 4pm at the Halpern Gallery, Chatham.
Exhibition dates:

Collection date: Tuesday 6th January 2026, 11am - 4pm at Halpern Gallery, Chatham.
Those chosen for The Halpern Pop will be expected to collect from the Rochester location between 10am - 4pm on Tuesday 6th January.
Entry requirements:
1. Artists need to be 18 or over
2. Entries will be accepted in 2D or 3D medium, including photography. AI imagery will not be accepted.
3. Artwork supplied must be original and created by the artist(s) named in the application.
4. All exhibited artworks MUST be for sale.
5. Size: we reserve the right to open negotiations if artworks submitted are too large.
6. Nucleus Arts will take 25% commission on all sales (20% commission for Nucleus Artists & Creative Associates).
7. There is a £15 fee for up to three submissions of which at least one piece will DEFINITELY be included in the exhibition.
8. Entry is taken as consent to reproduce entrant’s artwork for publicity purposes.

9. Enter via Nucleus Arts website.
10. Complete the on-line application form below, attaching one hi-res digital photo per piece.
11. Payment can be made via the online form.
Please note: Due to the increasing popularity of this exhibition we have had to put a limit to how many artists we can display. So the earlier you submit the better, as there is a possibility that the submissions will close when the limit is reached.
