Sophie describes her art as Realism with an emotional expressionistic outlook. Her work is varied as she enjoys experimenting with styles and techniques.
After having instigated and been part of the ‘Art of Recovery’ exhibitions, 2010, 2011, and 2012, Sophie teamed up with David Wilkes for a spring 2012 show entitled
“For the Love of . . .” which was held at the Nucleus Arts Centre Gallery in Chatham.
Sophie aims to reflect on the world we live in and to re-present it in Art -form in order to discover aspects which might help on our journey in life. She feels that the essence of Art is to help us add meaning to life, and that it is important to share ideas. Criticism of her work is always welcome; sophie loves to show what she is doing and enjoys discussion on all manner of topics.
