DUENDE, born in December of 2018, is a diverse group of women artists working in a variety of media. The group aims to encourage and support women in the arts and to help provide encouragement and support for women who are talented but may lack resources and confidence.

The exhibition heralds an innovational app initiated by Karen Scott of Future Coders that will allow interaction between visitors and the artists’ inner workings of each work displayed and will enable visitors to voice their opinions. Music created by Jane Pitt as a guest artist will also be featured.

A New Exhibition of Paintings and Perceptions

14th November - 27th November  2019

Private View 14th November 6-8PM

ALL WELCOME

(Exhibition closes at 1pm on Wednesday 27th November 2019)

Medway artist Jonathan Ash’s latest exhibition plays on his colourblindness, and he invites you to view this new collection of paintings through different eyes.

An interactive display, you will have the chance to understand how changing colours in an artwork might change your perception and reaction.

So why body:structure? You’ll notice most paintings are of objects that are supported by an internal frame whether organic or synthetic.

There is nudity on show, but very subtly presented. And at least one cat, not quite so subtle.
